Be Unapologetic About What You Want

Sounds nice doesn’t it?

Here’s what I’ve learned over my years so far.

I can’t please everyone.

I don’t know if it’s my age, or that my ‘give a sh*t meter’ has gone way down, but I am no longer living the way other people think I should.

Opinions fly at you from all directions at all times, but YOU are the one who matters and who decides.
I am going after my dreams. I am creating the life that I love with my amazing husband and crazy 2 boys (soon to be 3 ahhhh!!)

I picked out a mansion on a lake that I want to move to.

I can see us there, raising our boys there, hosting events and bbq’s and parties there, and building a life there.
I can practically smell it I want it so bad.

I have pictures of it as my desktop screen saver and I have it on my vision board.

My 5 year old straight up wants to know when we’re moving there and I said as soon as mommy makes enough money to pay for it.

How much he asks? I say well it’s $8 million bucks.

He goes: oh that’s a lot….but you’re almost there….frick I love that kid! #mybiggestfan

I am so grateful to have someone in my life like him who just has blind faith and who believes in me. I reminds me of how I used to feel about myself when I was young.

He doesn’t yet have that filter that we all get as we grow up about ‘reality’ or ‘likelihood’ because the truth is that anything is possible and the only way you can guarantee you won’t get something is if you cut off the possibility before you even start.

This is a big year for me.

I have a ton on my shoulders in business and in life, and the pressure gets to me sometimes for sure.

But I love my life and am super grateful for what I’ve accomplished already.

So many times we set our sights on the horizon and never feel like we get anywhere (because the horizon is always the same distance away no matter where we stand).

But when you learn to have gratitude for where you are right now, you start to appreciate all you’ve already done and it fuels you to go further.

We move forward every single day by choice, or by default.

You get to decide which one moves you.

I want so many thing for myself and my little family.

The world is our oyster because we decide it is.

So my friend, I guess what I’m trying to say is, be unapologetic for what YOU want.

It looks different for every single one of us.

Please stop letting fear or uncertainty hold you back.

Who cares what other people think.

Seriously.

Be unapologetic about what you want and just go for it!
