Here's me straight up ;)
I'm someone who goes for it! I'm a work hard, play hard kind of girl.
I don't like being told what to do (whether that's with parenting, life or business lol).
I guess you could say I'm wild at heart. Can you relate?
I have 5 brothers and I'm the only girl so I always felt like I had something to prove. That led me to a successful six figure career in corporate sales just like all my brothers, and while it all looked great on paper, I lost myself along the way and woke up one day completely unfulfilled by my job and what I had worked so hard to build.
I think that happens to a lot of us. We bust our butts to become successful and then wake up realizing we ran so fast, so far in the wrong direction.
Luckily for us, in this day and age we can pivot, we can shift, we can decide to go after something new!
I always knew I wanted to work for myself, and once I had kids I knew I couldn't be the mom I wanted to be while working 80+ hours a week.
I flat out refused to choose between business success and kids so I knew I needed to find a way to have both.
I think a lot of driven women can say the same. We want total flexibility with our time, to work from anywhere, to enjoy life while building a business, and to work in an industry where women support one another instead of the cutting each other down.
Is that really too much to ask?
I say no!
"I don't know how yet, but I'll figure it out" has always been my attitude. There's always a way right?!!
I am now a real estate investor, a business consultant and coach. Not too bad for an ex-insurance broker eh?!!
